It's really interesting to see the variety of topics that pop into people's heads, both from new games, and games from several years ago... I want to see more good pics of characters such as Toad and Toadette from Mario Kart Double Dash!!

You got it. Here's a cool snapshot of each character. I particularly like the one of Toadette, using the Mushroom boost and smiling for the camera. These two shots, as well as two others were just added to the MKDD Screenshot Gallery at your request... Plus, I was in a good mood at the time.

You should feature Mario Power Tennis dude I mean c'mon its an awesome game with lots of interesting stuff

I'm sure it's a great game. I played Mario Tennis for the N64, and I thought it was pretty cool. The only problem is, I don't own Mario Power Tennis for the GameCube. So, just send me a copy, and I'll whip something up.

hey is it true that magikoopa is a secret character in Mario Kart Double Dash?

The evil Koopa sorcerer named MagiKoopa (also known as Kamek) cannot be found in MKDD. However, he was a character in Mario Kart 64 before the game was released. Some people claim that he was replaced by Wario, but this screenshot of the Mario Kart 64 character select screen clearly shows Wario beside him... This suggests that he was later replaced by DK instead. MagiKoopa is a really cool character, probably because he's so mysterious... It's too bad that Nintendo didn't include him in MKDD... I would much rather play as MagiKoopa than Baby Luigi.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

I once stated that I was between the ages of 16 and dead... But that was years ago. I'm still older than 16, and I'm not dead yet. Perhaps the bigger question, is whether or not I will be able to manage Detstar from beyond the grave... Only time will tell.

Are you ending updates to your Goldeneye site? That's what it sounded like in your most recent update. If so will there be any other game coverage and what will they be on? If there are, I know they'll be just as great as this goldeneye site. Thank for reading this.

Another feature page was in the works for Goldeneye, but those plans were sabotaged when an asshole jacked my N64... Fortunately, my copy of Goldeneye wasn't taken - Had my favorite game cartridge been stolen, my anger could have easily turned into a state of homicidal rage...

Fortunately, I now have possession of an N64. I need to do a crapload of research before I can post more Goldeneye stuff. I hate setting dates because things always arise in my schedule, and putting pages together always takes longer than expected. So, I'll just say there will be another Goldeneye feature "sometime" in the near future.

I bet that you could beat me too... The downfall of being the webmaster of a gamesite is that I spend an incredible amount of time chained to my computer... Which means that there's hardly any time to sit down and actually 'enjoy' the games themselves. I hope you people out there appreciate this... But I doubt that's the case - Just long as massive updates are churned out on a regular basis, everyone's happy.

I'm quite good at SSBM obviously, but I am certainly not among the best players in the world. I can destroy a team of three level 9 CPU characters... But computer characters are foolish, and follow the same predictable patterns. They aren't capable of "thinking" and strategizing like human players are.

I am a big fan of your site, but I cannot access to your members only section. I was just wondering if you could make it possible to let people join the members section without paying.

It seems as if some people have missed the point of the Members Section... It was created as a reward system for people who support the website. There are countless pages and screenshots on Detstar that are offered for free... But unfortunately, the hosting company doesn't offer free hosting - They bill me regardless, and the price keeps increasing as the site grows in size and popularity. So to recover some of the insane operating costs, the Member Section was introduced.

Many people see the exclusive Member Content as a cheap and selfish act on my part... But if I really was cheap and selfish, I would have closed down this expensive website years ago.

Age: Unknown... Although I did provide information above. Not much info mind you, but hey, what did you expect?

Sex: Male (Had I been born a chick, would Detstar even exist? Sure, there are lots of girl gamers out there... But at the same time, many young girls would never have been given a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas, which was the thing that jump-started my interest in gaming... What the hell would I be doing in my spare time now without Detstar? Possibly living a completely normal life... Not sure if I like the sounds of that)

Location: Underground lair, buried with layers of rubble to keep out the evil sunlight... But I gotta climb out to go to work and play sports. Life without physical activity is the path to insanity. Well, complete insanity, anyway. Playing sports games in front of your TV screen is fun, but it's NOT exercise. Some people don't seem to realize this...

Likes: I like coffee, and I like sleep... Although I never get any sleep. Perhaps these two are directly connected. The loud music probably doesn't help either. I also like creating graphics and artwork... I really should go out and buy more paper, to put an end to always scribbling my ideas on the nearest wall. It's beginning to look like a crazy person lives here. Oh... Nevermind.

Dislikes: Stupid people, noisy children, anti-gun activists, politicians and the media. Is there anything good that can be said for any of these groups? If there is, I sure can't think of anything. The media is the lesser evil here, but the media is the tool used by politicians to spread propaganda and fill our minds with bullshit to keep us confused... This treachery is done with hopes that we'll remain oblivious to their corrupted plans, created to fulfill their own personal agendas.

Hobbies: Aside from Detstar, I like to avoid the public, polish firearms, and live in a constant state of paranoia. Ok, I don't really enjoy that last one. But you can't trust people, you can't trust the government, and you sure as hell can't trust that mother nature isn't going to suddenly hit you with a bolt of lightning or make a giant tree fall down and crush your skull...
