A while back, a Goldeneye 007 fan submitted a funny graphic of Barney the dinosaur getting his head blasted off during a gunfight with James Bond. This image was immediately posted on the website because of its entertainment value.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a since of humor. The people who own the exclusive rights to this children's character didn't think it was very funny. They decided to get their attorneys involved, claiming that this was an unauthorized use of intellectual property.

It's surprising that a major company could even be bothered with a quick little "copy & paste" creation. You'd think that rich executives would have better things to do with their time and money, but apparently not.

In a statement by an over-priced lawyer sitting at a mahogany desk, it was declared that this material should be removed immediately. Bold text was even used to draw attention to key points.

It's rather pathetic to believe that you can stop things from circulating on the Internet. If you're looking for some illegitimate "Barney" material, just head on over to any major search engine and do an image search for "dead barney" or "kill barney". You'll be rewarded with some pretty funny shit.

To the legal expert who sent this letter: Go fuck yourself.
