007 Nightfire
- Weapons
Written by dDG 007
This page displays a collection of guns from
Nightfire. Shown here is a variety of different types of weapons.
| Wolfram
PP7 (Walther PPK) |
 |
| Category:
Pistol |
| Magazine
Capacity:
7 rounds |
| Weapon
Strength:
Low |
| Location:
All FPS missions excluding Equinox |
|
| The
PP7 is a great weapon to start with. Though it has a low ammo capacity,
it makes up for it with stopping power. This is possibly my favorite
gun in the game. Since GoldenEye, the PPK hasn't made an appearance
in any other Bond game. Having James Bond's famous gun really adds
to the sense of being 007. |
| Raptor
Magnum (Magnum Research
Desert Eagle) |
 |
| Category:
Pistol |
| Magazine
Capacity:
7 rounds |
| Weapon
Strength:
Medium |
| Location:
Double Cross and Phoenix Fire |
|
| The
Raptor Magnum is a pistol with very high power. It's available in
either .50 caliber or magnum, and the power of the weapon more than
makes up for it's low ammo capacity. The Desert Eagle is a very popular
weapon in both movies and video games alike, most likely because of
it's combination of style and power. It's been in all of the Matrix
movies as well as the video game Enter the Matrix. It's also
one of my personal favorites. |

M9K (H&K MP5) |
 |
| Category:
Sub-machinegun |
| Magazine
Capacity:
21 rounds |
| Weapon
Strength:
Low-Average |
| Location:
The Exchange, Double Cross, and Countdown |
|
| The
M9K is an excellent weapon to have in your arsenal on some missions,
bun on other missions it's not as helpful. For example, I found that
in 'The Exchange' level, the weapon did surprisingly well,
but in the 'Countdown' mission I found it almost useless compared
to the other weapons. The real life H&K MP5 is a very well made firearm.
This weapon is most commonly used by S.W.A.T. Officers and the Navy
SEALs. |
| AIMS-20
(OICW) |
 |
| Category:
Assault Rifle/Grenade Launcher combo |
| Magazine
Capacity:
30 rounds, 6 grenade rounds |
| Weapon
Strength:
High |
| Location:
Countdown |
|
I
have to believe that if you could convert a tank into a rifle, this
gun would be the end result. Not only is this weapon an assault rifle,
but it's also a grenade launcher. If you see someone with this, be
quick to shoot them or suffer the consequences.
The AIMS-20 actually exists in real life, In the form of the OICW.
Still in development, the OICW is a very deadly weapon. The most outstanding
feature of this weapon is that the scope can calculate the distance
of enemy targets and program the explosive fragmentation round to
detonate in the center of them, causing maximum damage. A very effective
weapon indeed... |

Automatic 12 (SPAS-12) |
 |
| Category:
Shotgun |
| Magazine
Capacity:
8 rounds |
| Weapon
Strength:
Medium |
| Location:
Double Cross and Phoenix Fire |
|
| This
shotgun is an excellent way to dispatch enemies at close range, but
you definitely don't want to be stuck with this weapon at long range.
Though the shotgun has an automatic feature, it is easier to control
in semi auto mode. This isn't your grandpa's old hunting shotgun...
The Special Purpose Assault Shotgun (SPAS for short) is an excellent
weapon. Let's just say if you did decided to go deer hunting with
one of these, there would be much deer left when you were finished...

| Delta
Repeater Crossbow |
 |
| Category:
Crossbow |
| Magazine
Capacity:
3 Bolts |
| Weapon
Strength:
Medium |
| Location:
Chain Reaction and Countdown |
|
| This
weapon takes steady aim and some skill to use at long range. If you're
a skilled marksman, this weapon is for you. It inflicts massive damage
on it's target. Try to get closer to the target to use it, though.
Unfortunately, the clip size isn't that large. |
| Phoenix
Laser Rifle |
 |
| Category:
Other |
| Magazine
Capacity:
Unlimited (Recharges) |
| Weapon
Strength:
High to Very High |
| Location:
Countdown and Equinox |
|
| Only
two kinds of enemies will be left after using this weapon... Original
recipe and extra crispy. It only takes a couple shots to take down
the strongest enemies, and with it's charge up shot you can take out
an entire group of people. In my opinion, this is the ultimate multiplayer
weapon. |
| Fragmentation Grenade |
 |
| Category:
Explosive |
| Magazine
Capacity:
1 Grenade |
| Weapon
Strength:
Very High |
| Location:
Double Cross, Phoenix Fire, Countdown |
|
| There isn't much to say about this weapon. Pull the pin and toss it. Instant can of whoop ass. |
| The Golden Gun |
 |
| Category:
Pistols |
| Magazine
Capacity:
1 Golden Round |
| Weapon
Strength:
Maximum |
| Location:
Multiplayer Only |
|
| One
shot, one body drops to the floor. The ultimate pistol, the man with
the Golden gun in multiplayer rules the game. Be afraid... Be very
afraid... |
| Korsakov K5 Dart Gun |
 |
| Category:
Pistols |
| Magazine
Capacity:
5 darts |
| Weapon
Strength:
Extremely Low |
| Location:
Night Shift |
|
| I'm
not sure if I want to go into hostile territory with this gun... I'd
rather get my friends together and have a Nerf gun fight with it.
You definitely don't want to get stuck with this gun against an armed
enemy. I'd rather run up and punch out a guard with my fist than try
to hit them with the poorly inaccurate darts from this weapon. Perhaps
Bond should have tossed this thing out the window of his Aston Martin,
and picked up a pair of brass knuckles instead... |
Final Thoughts... My personal picks for
the game's weaponry are the PP7 and the badass AIMS-20. The Wolfram PP7
is the ultimate spy weapon. I personally would rather use it rather than
the Wolfram P2K, which in my opinion, has no place with Bond. Concerning
the AIMS-20, who wouldn't want one of these bad boys? A high caliber rifle
combined with a grenade launcher. Strange how this weapon is more advanced
than the SuperDragon from Perfect Dark, 21 years in the future... |
