Will the Detstar Forums re-open? After being down for ages, most
members from the old community are probably long gone... But there
are a persistent few who keep asking about the forums, so I might
even consider a "free-hosted" board full of lame ads.

created their own website, along with a discussion forum.
The Sixwinter Network offers news, reviews, and other fun stuff.
Anyone who used to post at the old Detstar Forums will surely recognize
