The stars in the newest legend of the Zelda
saga.
Link:
A descendant of the legendary Hero of Time,
Link is exceptionally talented with bladed weapons, as he learns to
use a sword rather quickly. On the birthday of his coming-of-age,
Link sets off on the adventure of a lifetime to save his sister... |
Aryll:
This plucky little girl is Link's younger sister.
She's kind and enjoys watching over the sea for seagulls. After lending
Link her Telescope, Aryll gets kidnapped and taken to a faraway island. |
Orca:
He's the only man on Outset who knows anything
about swordfighting. He teaches Link the essentials of swordplay,
and entrusts him with the weapon when he feels Link is ready. |
Grandma:
Link's grandmother raised him and his sister
on Outset Island. Although sad about his departure, she feels that
he's a brave enough lad to survive tough hardships. |
Quill:
This Postman is of the birdman race known as
the Rito. He comes by from time to time to deliver information and
mail. |
Tetra:
The slick and cunning pirate leader inherited
her high status from her mother. After being dropped into the forest
by a large bird, she's forced to help Link on his quest to save his
sister. Although not fond of him at first, she takes a liking to Link,
and feels sorry for his dilemma. |
Niko:
This pirate is in the lowest in command, and
has to train all the new 'swabbies'. He rewards you with treasure
after passing his tests of skill. |
Ganondorf:
Not much is known about him, other than the
fact that he long ago tried to gain power of Hyrule, only to be sealed
away in the Golden Land... |
King
of Red Lions: You meet this talking
boat early in your adventure. With a sail, it's capable of exploring
the vast Great Sea, and will mark vital destinations on your Sea Chart.
Its intentions and identity, however, are a mystery. |
Tingle:
There's something not quite right about this
guy... perhaps it's the green tights, or his childish attitude. After
freeing him from prison, Tingle will help you decipher certain maps,
for a price. You can also summon him with the Tingle Tuner. |
Medli:
The Rito girl Medli studies to become an attendant
for the great Valoo. She's received her wings and can fly for short
periods of time, and she's got as much courage as Link himself. Aside
from her studies, she enjoys playing on her special harp. |
Prince
Komali: This guy is pretty depressed
when you first meet him, and refuses to get out of bed. He sits there
and strokes Din's Pearl, claiming it helps him feel better. He's scared
to go and get a scale from Valoo, because lately Valoo hasn't been
acting right... |
Valoo:
The Lord of the Rito race grants his people
the ability to fly with special scales from his body. When a Rito
is the right age, they can climb Dragon Roost Island and grab a scale
from him, and they'll earn their wings. Lately, however, it seems
as if something is angering Valoo... |
The
Deku Tree: The Deku Tree is the guardian
of Forest Haven. Lively and animated, the Deku Tree is also quite
wise, and has much knowledge to offer Link. |
Makar:
Not much can be said about this Korok, other
than the fact that he practices nonstop on his leaf cello. He practices
alone so that his melodies can surprise people. |
Jabun:
The great fish spirit will offer Nayru's Pearl
to Link in a time of need. However, he's gone into hiding ever since
his home of Greatfish Isle was brutally attacked... |
King
of Hyrule: The King of the ancient land of Hyrule is in search of one who can help restore his beloved land. |
Zelda:
The mysterious princess of Hyrule carries the
Triforce of Wisdom with her. Only with the one that carries the Triforce
of Courage is she capable of defeating Ganondorf. |
Laruto:
The old sage of the Earth Temple was killed
by monsters that Ganondorf released into the temple. She was one of
the two sages that gave the Master Sword its power, and without a
sage that plays the same instrument as her, the sword will never glow
with the power to repel evil... |
Fado:
The old sage of the Wind Temple was also defeated
by Ganondorf's minions. Somebody who plays his instrument must be
found so that the Master Sword can be re-powered |
