Once again, a Detstar section showcasing a bunch of miscellaneous tidbits found in a game. A game's programmers will often throw in hidden details and extras for players to find. These extras play no part when beating the game, but they're just included for those who happen to notice them. If you've found something cool that isn't listed on this page, feel free to send it in: DetErest@detstar.com

Windfall Weapons...
While exploring some of the buildings on Windfall Island, I came across this unique wall... On it, is a giant pirate flag, and three different sizes of swords.

Deku-ramma
Just a neat detail with the red Deku symbol on this wooden door of the Forbidden Woods... This same design appeared on Link's wooden shield from Ocarina of Time... And with this same symbol etched on this rounded doorway, it looks just like Link's shield.

Forest Fossils
Something that can be spotted in some of the background areas of the Forbidden Woods, are ancient collections of fossils. There are several different shell-creatures on display, and even the bones of a fish.
Another area of the Forest where the fossils are present. On the right side, is a really big spiral shell.

Door Design
The decoration on this doorway of the Forest really caught my eye... It looks like an eyeball, surrounded by leafy flower pedals.

Home Sweet Home
Back on Link's home of Outset Island, are a few pictures on the shelf at Grandma's house. One is of Link and his sister Aryll, while the other picture is a cluster of flowers.

Etched in Time...
The walls and pillars that surround the Tower of Gods contain all kinds of ancient designs and carvings. Although they're probably nothing more than random symbols created for detail, it makes quite a visual effect when these entire walls are covered with these etched marks.

Head Hunting...
Skulls are turning up everywhere throughout the Great Sea... Including the one on the post here on Greatfish Isle.
Link opens a chest on Windfall Island, with a few empty heads nearby.
On a mysterious submarine, the crew apparently uses skulls as light fixtures... Also note the skull necklace that the Moblin is wearing.
Not a real skull, but another pirate symbol behind a treasure chest.
An eerie battle on the Ghost Ship, with many severed heads in the background. Perhaps those skulls are the heads of all the fallen warriors who have failed to save the land...
